Tour program "My favorite route!":

Day 1

Gathering of the group at the train station or airport in Irkutsk in the morning (time and place will be specified).

Travel from Irkutsk to Sakhyurta.

Lunch at the Yurt-café. Introduction to Buryat cuisine.

Ferry across the "Olkhon Gates" Strait. A small transfer to the picturesque and amazingly cozy bay. We will spend the night on the shore of Lake Baikal in tents (there is a possibility to be accommodated in yurts. On request).

Meals: lunch, supper.

Accommodation: tent camp.

Day 2

The assembly of the kayaks. Safety instructions. Learning how to drive a kayak.

Today is the first day of rafting. If weather conditions and group abilities will be good we will go to the largest island on Maloye More (the Small Sea) - OGOY. Ogoy Island is famous for its Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment.

Lunch (maybe a snack).

We will spend the night in Shebetsky gulf in tents. A walk around the area. The beauty oа this place is impressive!

Meals: breakfast, lunch, supper.

Accommodation: tent camp.

Day 3

After breakfast we will continue the rafting. Our journey takes us along the cliffs with beautiful caves, inside of which you can go on kayaks. We will pass the lake Hanchoy, separated from the Small Sea by a sand spit. We will stay for the night in a surprisingly beautiful bay.

Meals: breakfast, lunch, supper.

Accommodation: tent camp.

Day 4

Today is the final day of rafting. We will pass the Khuzhirskiy Bay and the famous Shamanka rock (Cape Burkhan) covered with secrets and legends. We will stay for the night at Saraisky Bay. Today we are going to dry up and disassemble the kayaks.

Meals: breakfast, lunch, supper.

Day 5

After an active rowing it is time to stretch your legs! :)

Exploring the expanses of the island of Olkhon by bike. The route depends on the possibilities of the group.

Lunch at acafé at own expense.

In the evening it is possible to order banya (sauna) (paid separately).

Accommodation: camp site (Khuzhir). Sectional room, (shared facilities onу bathroom per floor).

Day 6

Excursion "Journey to the edge of the Earth!" (will take all day, lunch included).

Cape Khoboy is the northernmost Cape of Olkhon Island.

When you stand on a rock at the very edge and below there are miles of water, it seems that this is the edge of the Earth, that brave explorers and fearless characters of Russian tales were looking for…

There our path lies. To get to the North of the island, you need to overcome: a steppe landscape with incredible ascents and descents, very similar to a roller coaster, a sandy tract and impassable taiga. During the trip you will be able to see fascinating ice caves and hummocks, admire the “Three Brothers Rock”, whose silhouettes were immortalized in stone by the mighty and fair father. You will also learn a lot about the lake and its fascinating legends and will get acquainted with traditions and customs of the local inhabitants. The impressions from today’s trip will be unforgettable!

Day 7

"Caves of Tazheran steppes" excursion (will take all day, lunch included).

Today you will become a real speleologist, an explorer of the underground treasures of nature! The cave is an unusual place. Often caves are called gateways to other worlds. These hidden from the human eye dungeons keep their secrets of the past, the history of the planet Earth. Mysterious labyrinths, absolute darkness and silence...

The program includes visits to caves Large Baginska, Mechta (a dream) and others, lunch on a cliff with stunning views of lake Baikal, a visit to the cave Vologodsky Trap.

The temperature in the cave is about 1 °C regardless of the season! Take warm clothes with you (jacket, pants).

Tourists will be provided with equipment for visiting the caves: protective suits, helmets, flashlights, gloves.

We will not returned on the island after the excursion. Travel to Irkutsk. Accommodation at the hotel, supper.

Day 8

Travel to the airport.

Meals: breakfast

Tour price: 40 000 rub/person

The price includes:

• Accommodation: camp sites / hostels or hotels according to the tour program;

• Meals according to the program;
• Tourists cook for themselves! Chef services are available upon request;
• All transfers to and from various points on the tour, according to the program;
• Guide services;
• Rental of camping equipment: tents, campfire equipment, gas equipment, rafting equipment;

The price does not include:

• Plane/ train tickets;
• Rental of personal equipment: sleeping bag, backpack, mat;
• Vaccination / encephalitis insurance;
• Additional drinks and meals (outside of what was mentioned in the tour program).
